Fire Cider Brewing Class
Come cozy up and join Alyssa, founder and herbalist of Virgo's Room, for an evening fire cider brewing class on Wednesday, September 30 from 7-8:30pm at Green Tiger.
Fire cider is a traditional herbal immune tonic created by Rosemary Gladstar- her intention was to create an accessible, non-alcoholic, and potent immune supporting herbal remedy. This tonic starts with a base of apple cider vinegar, which is then poured over kitchen available herbs and roots/vegetables. It is left to steep for 4-6 weeks, and sweetened with honey to taste.
Alyssa will lead you in creating this herbal immunity tonic just in time for the cooler weather setting in, helping you to prepare for cold season. Fire cider makes for great immunity shots, salad dressing, or as a mocktail/ cocktail base.
Tickets include brewing/mixing materials, as well as a fire cider mocktail to enjoy during the class.

Virgo's Room is a Somerville, MA herbal tea and bodycare company founded by Alyssa Palance in 2023. Alyssa is an herbalist whose background includes a B.A. in Holistic Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapies, herbalism training through the Connecting with the Living Land Course.
