Join Alyssa, founder of Virgo’s Room to learn about what goes into making a delicious and functional herbal tea. We will focus on herbs that are cooling and soothing, and discuss different brew methods. Then, we will try some different herbal infusions, and you will create your own personalized tea blend using provided herbs.
Throughout the session, you will be welcome to test out your tea blends and tweak as needed with guidance from Alyssa. Come with curiosity, and go home with your own custom bag of tea to gift or enjoy throughout the warmer months! All materials are included.
About Virgo's Room:
Virgo's Room is a Somerville, MA herbal tea and bodycare company founded by Alyssa Palance in 2023. Alyssa is an herbalist whose background includes a B.A. in Holistic Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapies, herbalism training through the Connecting with the Living Land Course.
The goal of Virgo's Room is to provide products that align with the seasons and strike a balance between flavor/sensory experience and functionality. When crafting products, Alyssa is inspired by astrology, women's health, the natural world, and art and music.
