Why is biodynamic grown tea superior?

Biodynamic farming practice goes beyond organic approach by incorporating a holistic approach. It prioritizes the interdependence of soil, plants, animals, and calendar. This means using natural fertilizers such as compost to enhance soil health and promote better plant growth. Biodynamic farming prohibits the use of synthetic and often harmful chemical pesticides and herbicides.

The calendar is also an integral part of biodynamic farming for planting, cultivating, and harvesting which enhance overall plant quality and health benefits. One of the most important aspects of biodynamic farming is the focus on biodiversity and regeneration of the natural environment.

Overall biodynamic farming is a more thoughtful and respectful way to farm for our planet and its habitants.

Black tea

Teabag is made of unbleached paper and organic cotton string which can be composted.

Only Earl grey and Jasmine tea envelopes contains a very thin coating of biodegradable plastic. The organic bergamot oil in these needs a barrier to keep it within the product.

Hampstead Tea was created by Kiran Tawadey in the early 90s when organic tea was a new concept. Kiran's passion for biodynamic farming is evident in Hampstead's close partnership with the tea estates to ensure natural tea cultivation. Hampstead tea has won multiple awards for great taste and quality.
