Nutscene is a heritage brand, who's origins were born from the Dundee Jute Industry in the early 1920's.
We patented the first "Pull from Centre" spool of green garden twine, which when tied around plants, was "Not Seen" hence the name Nutscene was adopted as the Patented name.
Now Nutscene are clearly seen, with over 20 colours of twines for the Garden and Craft markets. Produced in our small factory in Angus, Scotland.
Our Eco credentials have always been the core of our brand, working with accredited Jute suppliers whom we have a long standing relationship and regular visits to the mills. Jute is a plant, which has many environmental benefits and its of course biodegradable. A Vegan product, from Plants for Plants. Dyes used are REACTIVE and fully comply with REACH standards.
